Košarkarski klub Olimpija iz Ljubljane je imel večjo zalogo manjših serij neuporabljenih oblačilnih kosov športnih oblačil za košarkaše, ki so specifična po kvaliteti, barvah in proporcih.
The Olimpija Basketball Club from Ljubljana had a significant stock of smaller series of unused sportswear items for basketball players, which are specific in terms of quality, colours and proportions.
Oblikovalski izziv je bila sodobna kolekcija, eksperimentalni trajnostni oblikovalski projekt, pri katerem so študentje v avtorskih interpretacijah razvijali nove vizije oblačenja, upoštevajoč čim več kriterijev trajnostnega oblikovanja: upcikliranje, uporaba novih tehnologij, krojenje brez ostanka ...
The design challenge was a contemporary collection, an experimental sustainable design project, where students developed new visions of clothing through their unique interpretations while considering as many criteria of sustainable design as possible: upcycling, use of new technologies, tailoring without residue, etc.
Odpirali so nove teme, kot so ekofuturizem, novi ulični stili, mešanje stilov. Vsaka kolekcija je individualna zgodba. V projektu je močno izpostavljena družbena komponenta inkluzije in demokratičnosti sodobne mode, popularizacije, aktualizacije in sodobnosti estetike oblačil, nastalih iz doniranih odpadnih kosov. Pomemben del projekta je bil tudi timsko delo in nove oblike sodelovanj.
They explored new themes such as eco-futurism, new street styles and mixing styles. Each collection is an individual story. The project strongly emphasises the social component of inclusivity and democracy of contemporary fashion, popularisation, actualisation and contemporaneity of the aesthetics of clothing created from donated waste items. Teamwork and new collaboration forms were essential parts of the project.
